After-School Program to Increase Students’ Math Skills Resumes
Information from The Learning Laboratory:
Math Monday, the latest program presented by the Learning Laboratory New Orleans. Math Monday is a 6-week after-school math program with a focus on problem-solving, study skills, and math enrichment for students in grades 2-10. This would be a great program to recommend to parents and teachers of students who struggle in math class.
Learners will explore mathematics concepts with fun, relevant hands-on activities and technology.
Highly qualified, Louisiana-certified mathematics teachers (staff and volunteers) will be on hand to help participants and facilitate learning.
Students can ask questions and submit difficult problems throughout the week online.
Spring Session #1 is on Monday afternoons, February 15 – March 24, 2016, 5-7 p.m., with free homework help at 4-5 p.m. at the Learning Laboratory at 7100 St. Charles Avenue in room #209.
